Awesome!!! I really enjoyed watching you guys videos. I very recently thought about sailing, but have never done it before. Just the thought of peace and quite on the ocean seems like a dream. I have been looking at 25′ to 30′ sailboats. I really wish my wife could get into the idea of the whole sailing thing. After seeing you guys videos, it makes me want the dream to come true just that much more. Like I said, you guys are awesome. Maybe you all can give my wife a shout out on one of your up coming videos, so I can show her how cool sailing really is. Well take care and keep the dream alive.
Thanks Joseph,
We really appreciate the kind words.
We’ve been having a lot of fun and will give her a shout out soon. But don’t show her the blog we are about to put up about our crossing back to the states.
Best,

Captains Howerton,
WOW!! what an inspiration the two of you are. Thanks for all the videos and the blog with all the information about the budget and boat restoration. We are also planning a trip south from our home port of Beaufort NC. On our 1968 26′ Bristol sailboat. Doing a semi restore and refit on her at the present time. Your videos are proof that dreams do come true as will ours. Thanks again!! happy Sailing
I just found you guys and am really enjoying your stories. I’d love to pick your brain sometime as I’m currently involved in a sailing project myself … I’m living on my 27′ Newport and trying to sell my floating home so I can buy a bigger boat here on the West Coast and go sailing full time while teaching about sustainable and environmental issues. Cheers to you like-minded souls. I look forward to following your adventure!
great video’s :) going to download all of them and watch them tomorrow on my big screen :).
I own the same boat hope it will be as nice @ yours 1 day.
keep posting the vids!
